Be a consumer of this product, refresh your memory on what you got, what do you need now, and then shop. If you want to know what the rest of this market looks like in comparison to your current carrier, shop it. I like being an independent agent because I have so many carriers I can shop my clients with makes it easier so my client doesn't have to do the foot work in shopping and we tackle it like a team reviewing the policy real quick together, then I run out and shop it six ways from Sunday and back at you with an email, my advice, and notes on all those coverage nuances you really should know about.
