We just love seeing our families, grow, celebrate, and adding event coverage was a no brainer. But these policies need to be tailored to your specific event. Most venues require and event policy, which is a liability policy for property damage or other liability exposures that may happen during your event. The policies are short term policies normally for the day of your event, but some policies allow for a few additional hours of coverage before and after your event for set up and tear down. if you are serving alcohol at your event, you will need additional liquor liability added to your event policy and that will always be an extra charge. And if you are serving alcohol this is also a must add and most venues will ask for it. These policies are rated by invited head count, have a fixed premium, that needs paid up front in full to be made effective. I have also found these policies to be very affordable for the average event of 500 people or less. The more complicated your event and the bigger your head count all the more premium charge follows. We can help find event coverage for you, or you can shop online as well. Make sure you add your event coverage to your checklist for your next family event.
